How do you go about filing for Divorce where the participants have been married in excess of 10 years and have one child under 18.

But both parties are in total agreement on all counts.

The short answer is that in CA, assets and debts are divided equally. I would suggest that you consult with a lawyer who can advise you about your particular situation.

my husband has a credit card that he uses strictly for business and travelling expenses.He gets reimbursed but still have a balance of 15,000.00.Now as he filed for divorce he want me to pay half of it.Could you tell me if this is legal we live in California.Thanks to reply Myriam
