MomOF3,

If you can't support yourself, you may be able to get alimony. Your husband has a legal responsibility to support his children. Please see a lawyer to find out about your rights and responsibilities as soon as possible.

Lisa,

If you have only been married for a short time, you probably will not be eligible to collect alimony. Please consult with an attorney to get advice for your specific situation.
